Groundskeeper at Powers Health – East Chicago, Indiana

Position Summary

Maintains the overall appearance and equipment of the Hospital while focusing on patient, visitor and staff safety. Performs the grounds maintenance of the Hospital, i.e., walkways, entrances, garage areas, trees, grass. In addition, will fertilize, insecticide, snowplow and work with the irrigation systems. Performs preventative maintenance on grounds equipment and Hospital vehicles

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs the grounds maintenance of the Hospital; walkways, entrances, garage areas, trees & grass.
• Fertilize, insecticide, snowplow and work the irrigation systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance on grounds equipment and Hospital vehicles.

Education/Experience

• High School Graduate or equivalent required
• 5 Years job related experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License – operates hospital vehicles
