This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Finance Analyst in the United States.
In this role, you will support financial operations and project accounting by ensuring accurate reporting, cost tracking, and reconciliation across multiple projects. You will work closely with the project controls and finance teams to monitor expenses, manage labor allocations, and assist in preparing monthly financial performance reports. The position offers a fully remote work environment and the opportunity to develop strong analytical and accounting skills in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Your contributions will directly impact financial transparency, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. The role also provides exposure to payroll, billing, and bonus calculations, helping you build a broad foundation in finance operations. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and effective communication will be essential to succeed in this position.
Accountabilities:
  • Process, review, and reconcile expense reports accurately and on time.
  • Manage workforce job codes, labor assignments, and maintain updated rate trackers.
  • Assist with bonus calculations and track performance metrics.
  • Support month-end financial closing activities, including coding and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly finance performance reports and results summaries.
  • Validate timesheets and labor hours to support accurate billing preparation.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and maintain organized financial documentation.

Requirements:
  • 13 years of experience in finance, accounting, or project accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate formulas and functions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, coding, reconciliation, and bonus tracking.
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Preferred: Experience with Costpoint Project Accounting or similar ERP systems.
