About This Position
We're seeking an individual who is eager to begin a career in the Fire Alarm/Special Hazard Systems industry. This role will learn to install fire safety systems and gain skills to advance within the organization.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Assisting with fire alarm and special hazard system installations from start to finish.
- Collaborating with team to interpret complex design drawings and blueprints for system layouts.
- Performing the installation of fire alarm and special hazard systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and codes.
- Conducting rigorous system testing and inspections to verify proper operation and identify any potential issues.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Candidate will have a minimum 6 months of experience in one or more areas of manufacturing, electronics, electrical, low voltage, security alarm and fire alarm.
Post high school construction management and or similar course work beneficial.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
