About This Position
We're seeking a skilled Fire Alarm & Special Hazards Systems Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on executing fire safety projects in the field, ensuring seamless installations and flawless system programming.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Assisting with fire alarm and special hazard system installations from start to finish.
- Collaborating with team to interpret complex design drawings and blueprints for system layouts.
- Performing the installation of fire alarm and special hazard systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and codes.
- Conducting rigorous system testing and inspections to verify proper operation and identify any potential issues.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months of experience in fire alarm system installations or electrical apprentice.
Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems beneficial.
