The Consolidation Manager oversees group-wide consolidation and accounting processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. This role safeguards the integrity of consolidated financial data and ensures alignment with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS.

Accounting & Financial Responsibilities

Enter Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll, etc.).
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Consolidation Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of group consolidated financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate with subsidiaries to collect and validate financial data for consolidation.
Perform intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, and other consolidation entries.
Address accounting issues arising from mergers, acquisitions, or structural changes within the group.
Liaise with external auditors during group audit processes.

Process Improvement & Systems

Drive process improvements and automation within the accounting and consolidation functions.
Ensure accounting systems and processes scale with business growth.

Experience & Background

Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) strongly preferred.
Minimum 58 years of relevant experience, including group consolidation.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and consolidation principles.
Experience with ERP systems and consolidation tools
Experience in a multinational or group structure is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

Enthusiastic hands-on and can-do mentality
Strong team player able to work under stress.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in audit (Big 4 background is a plus).
Familiarity with multi-currency consolidations and international accounting.
Knowledge of tax implications and transfer pricing.
Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
