Commercial Landscape Foreman
Reports To Project Manager
Position Overview
The Commercial Landscape Foreman serves as the on-site leader for assigned crews and is responsible for coordinating daily field operations while actively working alongside the team. This role ensures that commercial landscape services are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with CLM quality standards, operational systems, and project requirements. The Foreman translates project direction into consistent field execution while maintaining accountability across the crew.

Core Results & Accountability
The Commercial Landscape Foreman is accountable for the following outcomes:
-Leading crew members in the execution of daily landscape operations
-Ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to established quality standards
-Supporting Project Managers through accurate communication, documentation, and job progress updates
-Maintaining job sites that reflect CLM standards for safety, organization, and professionalism

Key Responsibilities
-Lead and supervise assigned crew members while actively participating in daily field work
-Communicate daily task assignments, priorities, and expectations clearly to the crew
-Execute and oversee landscape installation and maintenance activities in accordance with project plans and specifications
-Monitor daily production, labor efficiency, and compliance with required safety, quality, and operational systems
-Enforce safety procedures and address or report unsafe conditions promptly
-Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites throughout the workday
-Prepare trucks, tools, and equipment at the end of each workday for the following day
-Complete required documentation and support Project Managers by updating work progress and punch lists using company tools

Experience & Practical Skills
-Demonstrated experience in commercial landscape installation and/or maintenance
-Working knowledge of landscape equipment, tools, and job site safety practices
-Ability to perform and oversee tasks such as planting, pruning, grading, mulching, and general site upkeep
-Experience leading or guiding crew members in a field environment
-Ability to read, interpret, and follow project instructions, schedules, and site plans

-Treat client properties with respect appropriate to a professional service operation
-Deliver consistent, high-quality workmanship aligned with Commercial Landscape Management standards
-Maintain safe, orderly, and professional job sites
-Lead crews with fairness, clarity, and accountability
-Follow all safety policies and procedures and report hazards promptly
-Maintain the confidentiality of client and company information
-Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance in accordance with company standards
