This role offers the opportunity to lead complex ERP implementation projects within a dynamic, client-focused environment. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating internal and external teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The position requires a mix of strong project management skills, business process expertise, and the ability to navigate enterprise-level systems. You will help shape processes, manage risk, and guide clients through every phase of ERP implementation while building long-term trusted relationships. The environment combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution and provides exposure to cross-functional teams, giving you a high-impact role in shaping organizational success. This position also involves periodic travel to client sites and requires adaptability, strong leadership, and communication skills.
Accountabilities- Lead and manage ERP implementation projects, ensuring delivery meets time, scope, and budget objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, vendor teams, and internal project teams, facilitating collaboration and decision-making.
- Coordinate task assignments to internal and client teams in alignment with project plans.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including governance structures, status reports, risk logs, and meeting minutes.
- Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and workshops to support adoption and progress tracking.
- Support marketing and business development activities, including drafting RFP responses, attending industry events, and contributing to thought leadership content.
- Identify risks and blockers proactively, applying problem-solving skills to maintain project momentum and quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Project management certification such as PMI (PMP) or CAPM preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience in ERP implementation, project management, business process analysis, or government accounting.
- Experience working with federal, state, or local government entities or regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Consulting experience in a national/regional firm, independent consulting, or software vendor environment with experience in requirements gathering and system testing.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control procedures, with proactive problem management capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable traveling to client sites up to 30%, particularly for on-site project activities.
