Social Media Manager

This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the social media presence of a growing brand in a highly creative, fast-paced environment. You will develop and execute a strategic content plan across multiple platforms, producing engaging posts, videos, and stories that resonate with small business owners and community members. The Social Media Manager will actively engage with followers, monitor trends, and translate audience insights into impactful campaigns. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and customer support is key, while also empowering employees and customers to participate in content creation. This position combines strategy, content creation, and community management to strengthen brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster meaningful relationships. Remote work is supported across the United States.
Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, and YouTube
  • Create, edit, and publish content including customer stories, product updates, educational materials, industry insights, and short-form video
  • Actively engage with the community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-aligned manner
  • Implement frameworks and playbooks for employee advocacy, customer-generated content, and creator partnerships
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics, optimizing content and campaigns for engagement, reach, and growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social content with marketing, product, sales, and support initiatives
  • Stay current on platform trends, algorithms, and emerging content formats to maintain a competitive social presence
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or company, with proven results in driving engagement
  • Hands-on experience with content creation, including short-form video production and editing
  • Strong writing skills and an ability to maintain a consistent brand voice
  • Creative, curious, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience handling customer interactions publicly and privately in a professional manner
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and support teams
  • Bonus: experience in SaaS, beauty, barbering, wellness, or related industries
