This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Scrum Master in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide technical teams in adopting Agile methodologies and driving high-performance outcomes. In this role, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams on best practices, and remove impediments to ensure smooth project execution. You will collaborate closely with product owners, operations, and development teams to align priorities, refine backlogs, and enhance delivery efficiency. Accountabilities:
  • Facilitate and guide multiple Scrum teams in daily activities, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
  • Coach teams on Agile values, practices, and principles to improve effectiveness and maturity
  • Support technical teams in breaking down user stories, defining requirements, and ensuring clarity for actionable work
  • Establish working agreements, manage schedules, and resolve roadblocks to achieve sprint goals
  • Track and remove impediments to optimize productivity and delivery quality
  • Utilize Agile metrics and dashboards to monitor progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and report status to stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and communicate development and release statuses to management
  • Mentor and support other Scrum Masters in the organization
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years as a Scrum Master in a software or technical environment
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional Scrum Master (CSP-SM)
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum theory, and practical frameworks
  • Proficiency with Agile techniques such as user stories, continuous integration, automated testing, and backlog management
  • Advanced JIRA or project management tool experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience coaching teams, facilitating change, and fostering collaboration in remote environments
  • Familiarity with SDLC practices and complex application support is preferred
