About This Position
Akira Technologies is seeking a Business Administrator to provide analytic and operational business support to intelligence production environments by applying structured methodologies to evaluate performance, improve processes, and support mission effectiveness across defense intelligence activities. This role supports program execution through data-driven analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and enterprise-level coordination across Intelligence Community (IC) organizations.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong mission knowledge, analytic rigor, and the ability to synthesize complex or incomplete information into actionable insights that improve intelligence-related business processes, performance measurement, and production support activities.
This is an onsite role supporting a government client in Fort Belvoir, VA. Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Support process improvement initiatives through analysis using internal program data and external benchmark comparisons.
- Develop, refine, and monitor performance metrics to identify risks and justify operational improvements across intelligence-related activities.
- Conduct statistical analysis measuring production, performance, utilization, and effectiveness of services and analytic products.
- Perform record-keeping functions ensuring visualization requests, product formatting activities, dissemination actions, and production tracking are captured within relevant enterprise databases.
- Provide recurring and ad hoc business analytic support including business process mapping of intelligence-related activities, stakeholder surveys, performance measurement development, statistical reporting, and process improvement analysis.
- Structure analytic assessments using trends in reporting and multiple analytic perspectives from organizations, analysts, and intelligence disciplines across the IC.
- Communicate insights derived from incomplete, indirect, technically complex, or seemingly unrelated information sources.
- Develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products supporting defense intelligence mission requirements.
- Collaborate with IC partners to support information sharing, drive collection priorities, and assist in resolving analytic disputes and coordination challenges.
- Lead teams in researching multifaceted or mission-critical problems impacting intelligence-related business operations.
- Provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies appropriate to mission needs.
- Apply argument evaluation techniques and validated analytic methodologies to assess and challenge alternative analytic perspectives.
- Operate independently with minimal oversight while supporting cross-organizational coordination and mission execution activities.
Job Qualifications
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
- Demonstrated experience supporting intelligence-related business operations, performance measurement, or analytic program support
- Strong experience conducting statistical analysis supporting production, performance, or service usage evaluation
- Experience supporting process improvement initiatives within analytic or operational environments
- Demonstrated ability to communicate insights derived from complex or incomplete information
- Experience collaborating across Intelligence Community organizations
- Minimum 8 years of experience related to the labor category, with some experience within the last 2 years
- Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in an intelligence discipline within the DoD or Intelligence Community, including experience within the last 2 years
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution
- Experience supporting intelligence production environments through business analytics or performance management
- Experience applying structured analytic methodologies to support mission-focused decision-making
- Experience leading teams addressing complex operational or analytic challenges
Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000
Akira’s pay range for this position considers various factors including skills, years of experience, training, licenses, certifications, alignment with market data, and internal equity in the organization. This pay range estimate is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary, which Akira believes to be done in good faith in compliance with local laws. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
