Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all composite lamination activities, from raw material preparation through final removal of cured components
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production targets
• Allocate work, coordinate team schedules based on production demands, and track employee performance
• Provide training and mentorship to technicians on composite layup techniques, tooling and mold preparation, and proper material handling
• Partner with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous process improvements
• Maintain readiness of tooling, equipment, and materials to support uninterrupted production
• Uphold company policies and procedures while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork

Skills/Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of Manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace composite layup (including VARTM, wet layup, and oven and/or autoclave prepreg processes)
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams of 5-10 employees with clear communication and expectations
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional technical training or education is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, process specifications, and engineering drawings
• Working knowledge of AS9100 standards and aerospace documentation is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of aerospace-grade prepreg materials, cleanroom procedures, and composite layup methods
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-driven with a desire for growth in the aerospace manufacturing industry
