This strategic leadership role is responsible for shaping and driving the long-term product vision for a portfolio of healthcare interoperability solutions. The Associate Director will oversee product planning, release cadences, and high-impact programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends. This position requires collaboration across engineering, data, and executive leadership to architect solutions, prioritize initiatives, and deliver measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, translating complex healthcare standards and technology into actionable product strategies. Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of product strategies across a portfolio of healthcare interoperability solutions
  • Define and track KPIs for portfolio performance, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights for decision-making
  • Drive strategic programs with direct accountability for business metrics and cross-functional execution
  • Oversee release planning and portfolio management, improving predictability and efficiency while setting best practices for scope management
  • Partner with engineering, data, and executive teams to architect solutions and integrate complex healthcare standards (e.g., HL7/FHIR)
  • Mentor and guide product managers, fostering development and a high-performance culture
  • Identify and lead large-scale initiatives to generate new revenue streams and expand into new markets

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of healthcare product management experience, with 5+ years on healthcare interoperability features
  • 4+ years in a leadership or senior management role
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and gain executive buy-in for strategic initiatives
  • Strong understanding of healthcare technology and standards, including HL7/FHIR, NLP, and AI-enabled data transformation
  • Expertise in portfolio management, program leadership, and operational accountability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating ambiguous, high-stakes challenges
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, able to translate technical and programmatic performance into high-level narratives
  • Experience mentoring and developing teams, fostering growth and operational excellence
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, MBA) a plus
  • Fully remote within the U.S., with preference for Los Angeles or Las Vegas, and ability to travel up to 10%
