IT & AI Automation Engineer at Jobgether – Tremblay-en-France, Île-de-France

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT & AI Automation Engineer in France.

This role is ideal for a technically curious professional eager to build real-world automation solutions from day one. You will work closely under a senior engineer, maintaining IT operations while designing and deploying AI-driven workflows that increase efficiency across the organization. Your work will span scripting, automation, and internal tooling, with a strong emphasis on using AI to solve repetitive or complex tasks. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented position in a fast-moving, AI-native environment where experimentation and ownership are highly valued. You will contribute directly to operational reliability and help shape the internal AI automation strategy. The role provides a collaborative, remote-friendly setting and an opportunity to develop skills at the intersection of IT, AI, and automation.

• Build and maintain AI-driven workflows and agentic systems to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Python and/or JavaScript for routine operational tasks, data flows, and SaaS integrations
• Support IT operations including access provisioning, offboarding, troubleshooting, and system administration
• Document and standardize automation processes to ensure reliability and ease of use
• Identify repetitive tasks across the organization and propose automation-first solutions
• Collaborate with the senior engineer to test, iterate, and optimize AI tooling and integrations

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in IT, operations, or technical support roles, capable of independently handling routine tasks
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript for scripting and automation
• Hands-on experience with at least one automation platform (Make, n8n, Zapier, or similar)
• Active use of AI tools (LLMs, automation agents) in work or personal projects
• High ownership mindset with strong task management and problem-flagging skills
• Excellent written English for asynchronous communication
• Comfortable in remote, international environments and available to overlap with US business hours
• Nice to have: experience with Claude, Anthropic API, or MCP integrations; familiarity with SSO, RBAC, or SOC 2 concepts; startup or fast-paced tech environment experience
