Job Overview

How You Will Make an Impact

• Execute professional interior and exterior painting with a focus on high-traffic commercial environments.

• Master surface preparation by patching, sanding, and priming to ensure flawless coating adhesion.

• Apply specialized oil-based coatings to metal door frames and other architectural surfaces.

• Maintain clean and consistent finishes on diverse substrates including drywall, CMU, and metal.

• Lead the training of junior team members to standardize quality across all project phases.

• Coordinate directly with project managers to verify the scope of work and meet tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial painting applications.

• Proven expertise in applying oil-based and latex coatings with precision brush and roll techniques.

• Technical proficiency in surface preparation and the use of commercial-grade primers and sealers.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage job site logistics with minimal supervision.

• Possession of reliable transportation and a consistent record of professional attendance.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Experience operating commercial paint sprayers for large-scale wall and ceiling applications.

• Trade skills beyond just painting is a major plus.

• Prior history of mentoring or guiding laborers in a commercial construction setting.

• Ability to interpret basic architectural plans and project scope documentation.
