• Design and implement core backend systems for new products from the ground up
• Develop low-latency, high-reliability services interacting with transaction pipelines and real-time data streams
• Own critical infrastructure components including order routing, execution, market data, and position management
• Ensure security at all levels, from transaction signing to user data protection
• Collaborate closely with product and infrastructure teams to iterate quickly based on user feedback
• Make key architectural and technical decisions as an early, high-impact team member
• Monitor system performance and reliability, ensuring uptime and responsiveness for critical processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant work on distributed systems
• Strong systems programming skills; Rust preferred, but expertise in C/C++, Go, or similar is acceptable
• Proven track record building reliable, low-latency production systems
• Security-first mindset with understanding of attack surfaces, key management, and failure modes
• Experience or familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, particularly Solana, is a strong plus
• Ability to operate autonomously, handle incomplete information, and contribute in a 0-to-1 product environment
• Relevant experience in trading systems, exchange infrastructure, DeFi protocols, fintech backend systems, or high-frequency/low-latency systems
