- Manage and enhance compensation programs to ensure alignment with business strategy, market competitiveness, and internal equity
- Ensure compliance with compensation-related regulations across Canada and the United States, including pay equity and transparency requirements
- Lead the annual merit cycle, including market analysis, system preparation, data validation, and stakeholder training
- Partner with HR and Finance teams to manage incentive programs, including short-term incentive payouts and accrual processes
- Administer variable compensation programs, ensuring accurate calculations, audits, and coordination with payroll
- Lead job description harmonization initiatives and support job evaluation processes across business units
- Develop and maintain compensation models, dashboards, and reports using advanced data analysis techniques
- Conduct market benchmarking and participate in salary surveys to support informed decision-making
- Provide expert guidance on compensation-related matters, including hiring offers, internal mobility, and off-cycle adjustments
- Perform ad hoc analyses to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and improve compensation practices
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in compensation analysis within large, complex organizations across Canada and the U.S.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas
- Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, market pricing, job evaluation methodologies, and pay equity practices
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to compensation in North America
- Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with HR systems and reporting tools
- Professional certification such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is an asset
