This role offers the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical national security systems by building and maintaining secure, scalable, and automated software delivery pipelines. You will work in a highly collaborative Agile environment supporting the modernization of complex applications used for identity management and public safety operations. The position focuses on strengthening CI/CD capabilities, improving automation maturity, and ensuring reliable software deployments across multiple environments. You will collaborate closely with development, testing, and infrastructure teams to enhance DevSecOps practices and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on technical role where innovation, automation, and continuous improvement are central to success. - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software builds, testing, and deployments across multiple environments.
- Develop and manage build automation processes and scripting for continuous integration and delivery workflows.
- Support configuration management tools, including Jenkins and related DevOps platforms, ensuring stability and scalability of pipelines.
- Enable full automation of development, testing, and release processes while ensuring secure and reliable deployments to staging and production.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to define DevSecOps best practices, governance standards, and operational guidelines.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with container orchestration platforms and cloud infrastructure environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing DevSecOps workflows, recommending improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
This role requires strong technical expertise in DevSecOps engineering, CI/CD automation, and modern software delivery practices, along with the ability to operate in Agile, security-focused environments. Candidates should bring hands-on experience supporting enterprise-scale systems and building reliable deployment pipelines.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, or related technical roles.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and build automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Git or other version control systems and branching strategies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools for deployment workflows.
- Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and OpenShift is highly valued.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) and infrastructure provisioning concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation, performance, and system reliability.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
- U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain federal suitability clearance.
