This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end accounting operations within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will manage financial processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency at every stage. Working closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in maintaining robust financial systems while driving process improvements. The position blends operational excellence with innovation, including exposure to automation and AI-driven financial analysis. You’ll also contribute to building scalable accounting practices in a growing international setting. - Manage end-to-end payment operations, ensuring timely execution, reconciliation, and compliance with internal controls
- Oversee pre-accounting processes, validating and approving financial data before external accounting review
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and produce financial statements across multiple jurisdictions
- Lead monthly and annual closing processes, including reconciliations and coordination with external partners
- Handle intercompany accounting activities, including transfer pricing documentation and compliance
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards (e.g., HGB, IFRS) and support regulatory and tax requirements
- Drive automation and optimization of accounting workflows and financial systems
- Support audit processes and prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses
- Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality output and professional development
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally in an international or fast-growing environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including intercompany accounting and multi-entity structures
- Experience with financial tools and expense management systems (e.g., Moss, Ramp, or similar)
- Familiarity with HGB, IFRS, and cross-border financial compliance requirements
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, accuracy-driven mindset
- Hands-on approach with the ability to manage both operational and strategic tasks
- Interest in automation, AI tools, and improving financial workflows
- Experience working with distributed teams and adapting to dynamic environments
- Knowledge or interest in crypto and digital asset accounting is an advantage
