About the Role:

The Lead Quality Engineer is a hands-on technical leader responsible for shaping and advancing quality engineering practices across JSX’s software development organization. This role ensures that systems are built with reliability, observability, and testability from the start—not inspected after development.

You will define testing strategies, guide automation efforts, and partner closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery across web, mobile, and backend systems. This role plays a key part in evolving JSX’s quality engineering maturity, including leveraging automation, observability, and AI-assisted testing to improve coverage, velocity, and release confidence.

  • Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, and service layers
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid feedback and reliable releases
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure systems are designed for testability and observability
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-assisted testing tools and automation platforms
  • Define and track quality metrics including coverage, defect trends, and release readiness
  • Support UAT, release coordination, and validation of business-critical workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle

  • Collaborative: You partner effectively across engineering, product, and business teams
  • Innovative: You embrace modern tools, automation, and AI to improve testing efficiency
  • Entrepreneurial: You take ownership, act decisively, and continually seek to improve.
