Student Assistant- Microbiology Lab prep at Bryan West Campus at Bryan Health – Lincoln, Nebraska

This is a job at West campus and the primary purpose is lab clean up and dish washing.

SUMMARY

The Student Assistant assists trained personnel in an effort to facilitate the acquisition of technical skills and perform/practice beginning-level skills in the student's area of instruction.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with cleaning laboratory environment and washing glassware.

2. Making reagents or assembling supplies for laboratory sessions.

3. Assisting with supply inventory and organization of the Science lab area.

4. Meeting with individual students to provide remediation.

5. Aiding Science faculty in developing and providing study sessions.

6. Assisting Science faculty with grading exams or quizzes.

7. Attendance of lectures courses as determined by the Science faculty

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a student currently enrolled in a course of study at Bryan College of Health Sciences. Prior education and experience dependent upon specific assignment.
