Food Service Materials Handler at Holyoke Medical Center – Holyoke, Massachusetts

Note: The compensation range noted above represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.

Holyoke Medical Center is seeking experienced individual to receive, store, inventory, and issue food and supplies used by the department. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

• Properly receive all products purchased by the Food Service Department
• Maintain organized and clean storage rooms following Food Safety storage regulations
• Maintain organized and clean walk-in refrigerator and freezer
• Conduct weekly inventory of products
• Complete and place orders
• Maintain an organized and clean loading dock
• Maintain clean and functioning materials handling equipment
• Insure FIFO (first in, first out) of all products
• Date all products with delivery date

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, write, and speak in English and be able to follow verbal and written instructions; computer literacy and proficiency; previous food service experience preferred
