About our Client:
Just in Time delivers trauma-informed, attachment-based mental health care for youth transitioning out of foster care by repairing relational ruptures and restoring connection. Through consistent and trustworthy relationships, community integration, and evidence-based therapeutic practices, we support participants in rebuilding agency, safety, emotional regulation, and the capacity for healthy, sustaining relationships.

At Just in Time for Foster Youth, we’re hiring a College Bound Coordinator to provide individualized, consistent support to young adults with foster care experience as they pursue higher education.
This role is ideal for someone who has either lived this experience or has dedicated their career to supporting underserved students—and wants to make a measurable, lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to participants navigating 2-year, 4-year, and graduate programs
- Help students set academic goals, overcome barriers, and stay on track
- Build trust-based relationships through consistent communication (in-person, virtual, phone, text)
- Plan and facilitate workshops and engagement events
- Partner with colleges, universities, and community organizations
- Support participant recruitment, retention, and engagement
- Track participant progress and maintain accurate documentation
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of experience working with students, young adults, or underserved populations
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized
Preferred Experience:
- Lived experience in foster care or similar systems
- First-generation college graduate
- Experience in mentoring, advising, or education support roles
- Experience working with diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ youth
Employment Details:
- Hourly: $23 – $28 per hour (based on experience)
