Remote Design Lead

Accountabilities- Lead design for key products across core offerings including insurance, safety, and repairs.
- Ship 01 features that modernize car care for everyday drivers.
- Partner with research, product, and data teams to identify opportunities and create impactful designs.
- Develop elegant, frictionless experiences that drive engagement and retention.
- Build and evolve a design system ensuring consistency and visual excellence.
- Apply AI thoughtfully to enhance user experience and personalization.
- Set high standards for UX and visual design through clarity and craftsmanship.
- A portfolio showcasing exceptional visual design and thoughtful user experience in shipped consumer products.
- 12+ years of product design experience in both agency and in-house settings, ideally across mobile and web.
- Proven capability to manage projects from research and concept through to launch and iteration.
- Experience in building and evolving design systems in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments with a track record of delivering quality work quickly.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to align and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Bonus: Experience in marketplaces, fintech, mobility, or insurance.
