About This Position

Super Technician Expert

Eye Specialty Group is seeking a full-time Super Technician Expert to help make a difference. The Super Technician Expert will assist in clinics wherever needed. This position will be responsible for knowing all clinical positions, assisting with new project rollouts within the clinical area, functioning as a resource to help design streamlining processes within the clinics and serve as a resource to other clinicians regarding clinical matters. This position will be integral in ensuring company goals for quality care, patient satisfaction, and revenue are met consistently. (This position will work 2 days or more in Jonesboro, AR and remaining days of the week in one of the locations in or near Memphis, TN.)

Essential Skills/Responsibilities:

· Works and is knowledgeable of all positions within clinic; front desk, clinic technicians, testing, etc.

· Works closely with COO and Clinic Managers to identify areas for streamlining new processes in clinic to become more efficient and offer better quality care.

· Redirects staffing concerns and workflows and serves as a resource and training person as needed. Communicates this to Clinic Manager at appropriate time.

· Takes initiative to facilitate patient care based on patient flow to alleviate disruptions and improve patient journey in an efficient manner.

· Assists in staff training.

· Assists in creating and establishing performance benchmarks as appropriate for each position.

· Completes all compliance training requested by company and required by law.

· Adheres to HIPAA compliance plan.

· Communicates effectively throughout the organization; demonstrates and promotes positive working relationships and represents ESG values and vision.

· Travels to other clinics as needed.

· All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and one to two years clinical experience; OR five to seven years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. COA or working towards certification, with attainment of COA required within 24-36 months of employment per the parameters in policy.

Skills:

· Demonstrated excellence in verbal communication, as well as, written communication.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

· Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Project Management.

· Time Management.

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.

· Critical thinking skills for identifying problems and resolutions in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in routine situations.

· EHR proficiency or experience in medical software.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit/stand/walk and talk/hear as the job requires for long periods of time, as well as, stoop/crouch, lift, push/pull and climb/balance as needed.

· Corrected or uncorrected visual acuity in at least one eye of 20/40 or better.

· Ability to operate office equipment requiring the use of one hand.

· Corrected or uncorrected hearing capacity to enable suitable telephone communication skills.

· Ability to work in clinical environment with a moderate noise level.
