Global HR Business Partner at Serioplast – Seriate, Bergamo

Serioplast, a global leader in rigid plastic packaging, is looking for a Global HR Business Partner to support our operations and act as a trusted partner to business leaders.
The Global HR Business Partner will manage and develop all people-related processes for the assigned scope, ensuring alignment with company standards, policies, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic partner to Plant and Management teams, supporting workforce planning and organizational effectiveness
• Oversee personnel administration, performance management, and employee development processes
• Ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide HR consultancy on labor law, industrial relations, and collective bargaining agreements
• Support compensation activities, including salary benchmarking and the annual salary review process
• Manage relationships with unions, employee representatives, and local labor authorities
• Handle employee relations matters, disciplinary actions, and labor disputes
• Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, internal procedures, and HR policies
• Maintain accurate HR documentation and records
• Support recruitment activities to meet short- and long-term staffing needs
• Partner with managers to identify training and development needs and support the implementation of development initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of labor law and personnel administration
• Solid understanding of HR management principles and best practices
• Proven experience in employee relations within a manufacturing environment
• Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
• Availability to travel

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or similar
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an HRrole, preferably as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Specialist in a manufacturing or industrial context

What are we looking for?

• Good knowledge of ISO standards
• Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, IM, CIM)
• Good knowledge of Statistical Process Control and statistical analysis
• Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques
• Good project management skills
• Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Good knowledge of English
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in scientific subjects
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Quality Control department of an FMCG multinational company
