Part-Time Member Service Representative at Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative Inc – Bastrop, Texas

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional member experience for all transactions requested by members.
• Remain within call handling metric guidelines.
• Ensure all safety procedures and rules are followed.
• Must be able to appropriately handle confidential information and act within the practices established by the Bluebonnet RedFlag policy.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing and Certification:

• Valid Texas driver's license.
• Certification in First Aid, CPR and AED

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to navigate through multiple computer screens and applications with speed and accuracy.
• Must have the ability to use basic office equipment.
• Must be dependable and prompt at all times.
• Effective verbal and written skills.
• Must possess excellent member service experience and skills, with a desire to serve our members and internal personnel in a positive manner.
• Must possess the ability to organize, plan and prioritize multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Must possess excellent keyboarding, writing and grammar skills for correspondence to the members and internal personnel.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Work Environment:

• Hours are consistent with but not limited to normal business operations.
• May require working flexible hours, with varying daytime and evening shifts
• Potential for a hybrid schedule after training.
• Repetitive duties will be required throughout the day.

This is a part-time position working an average of 20 hours per week, not to exceed 29 hours per week and 1000 hours per year.
