You will serve as a technical cornerstone within our Sales and Client Relations division, transforming complex blueprints into winning strategies. This role offers the opportunity to secure high-profile electrical projects exceeding $750,000 while driving the preconstruction excellence that fuels our company's growth. You will have the platform to lead value engineering efforts and mentor the next generation of estimating professionals.

• Translated intricate electrical drawings and one-line diagrams into accurate, competitive, and well-documented project estimates.

• Secured profitable electrical construction contracts by identifying scope gaps and mitigating financial risks during the bid phase.

• Executed detailed quantity takeoffs and labor forecasting to ensure resource alignment with project requirements.

• Developed creative value engineering options that provide cost-efficient solutions without compromising installation quality.

• Collaborated with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure seamless transitions from the sales process to the field.

• Mentored junior estimating staff to improve departmental accuracy, organization, and technical proficiency.

• Maintained rigorous bid documentation and met demanding deadlines to position the company as a leader in the commercial market.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial or industrial projects.

• Proven track record of estimating and winning projects valued at $750,000 or higher.

• Deep technical knowledge of electrical systems, National Electrical Code (NEC), and installation methods.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Proficiency in digital takeoff software and electrical estimating platforms.

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with union labor rates and government prevailing wage requirements.

• Strong established relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Bilingual strongly preferred

• Experience with Conest estimating software or similar estimating software.
