About This Position

Purpose of this position:

The EHR Systems Trainer will work on-site, collaborating closely with IT staff, support teams, clinical personnel, and the EHR vendor. This role is responsible for:

  • Assist agency staff in effectively learning and using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems by providing basic training, user support, and troubleshooting.
  • Improving training and operational procedures within the organization to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Developing and updating training materials, conducting group and individual training sessions, collaborating with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to optimize workflows, monitoring EMR helpdesk tickets, maintaining training records, and performing system testing to ensure EHR functionality and readiness during upgrades

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Microsoft products and technology
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, administrative, and IT teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with people with different backgrounds.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Authority is delegated to the individual in this position to: EHR Systems Manager
