The team at Dental Health Group located in Burlington, ON is looking for a passionate, hard-working Dental Receptionist on a full time position.

The ideal Dental Receptionist for our team will ensure the smooth operation of the dental office by managing front desk activities and serving as the first point of contact for patients. This position requires handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, managing insurance claims, posting payments and maintaining billing records, which supports the financial health of the practice. Our dental receptionist contributes to a welcoming and professional environment that enhances patient satisfaction and supports the overall success of the dental office. Additionally, this role involves coordinating with dental professionals and administrative staff to ensure that patient care and office operations are well-organized.

SCHEDULE:

Monday 8 am -5 pm
Tuesdays 8 am -5 pm
Wednesdays 8 am- 5pm
Thursdays 8 am -5 pm
Friday 8 am - 3 pm
1 Saturday/ month 8 am - 2 pm

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Post-secondary education or certification in dental office administration or a related field.
Proven experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance claim processes.
Knowledge of Canadian dental insurance policies and billing procedures.
Experience with Abdeldent is considered an asset
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer service mindset
