Medical Lab Technician - Hematology at SynergenX Health Holdings LLC – Houston, Texas

The Medical Laboratory Technician will play a vital role in ensuring diagnostic excellence through accurate testing, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety standards. • Location: Onsite, Northwest Houston (249/Louetta)

• Shift: PM shift, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Compensation: Starting at $29/hour, based on experience; ($3 shift differential for hours worked between 5 PM – 5 AM)

• Perform immunoassay testing, calibration, quality control, and sample analysis.

• Accurately report test results and promptly communicate abnormal findings to providers.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment; perform cleaning and sterility checks.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and lab safety protocols.

• Support all phases of testing (pre-analytical, analytical, post-analytical).

• Document and monitor laboratory logs, maintenance, and quality checks.

• Manage supply inventory and track expiration dates.

• Assist with training new personnel and provide backup support to the Lab Manager.

• Maintain quality assurance records and participate in audits and inspections.

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.

• MLT (ASCP or equivalent) certification required.

• Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience (hematology preferred).

• Strong knowledge of lab operations, safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
