Why This Role Matters

We are seeking a technically strong and business-oriented Senior BI Analyst – Financial Reporting to support a private equity-backed, multi-product FinTech organization. This role is focused on building scalable business intelligence solutions that unify large, complex datasets across multiple systems and transform them into executive-grade dashboards and performance

reporting.

Operating in a data-rich environment, this role requires deep expertise in data modeling and dashboard development—while maintaining fluency in SaaS-style financial metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, LTV/CAC). This position partners closely with FP&A, RevOps, and executive leadership to ensure consistent, accurate, and automated reporting and to explain key business drivers through

data insights.

What you’ll own:

Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting solutions using Tableau
  • Develop KPI frameworks for recurring revenue and FinTech financial performance metrics
  • Create scalable semantic layers and curated datasets for Finance and business stakeholders
  • Improve dashboard performance, usability, and adoption across the organization
  • Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions that deliver data-driven insights

Data Modeling & Large-Scale Data Integration

  • Build and maintain robust data models within data warehouses such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery
  • Integrate high-volume datasets from ERP, CRM, billing, and other key operational systems
  • Design fact and dimension tables to support subscription, customer lifecycle, and operational investment analytics
  • Develop reusable SQL transformations that combine financial, operational, and product metrics across systems

Financial Metrics & Performance Reporting

  • Own BI reporting for SaaS-style KPIs including ARR, MRR, NRR, churn, LTV/CAC, Rule of 40, gross margin, and EBITDA
  • Build automated reporting layers for board-ready and investor-ready financial dashboards
  • Support cohort analysis, retention analysis, and customer profitability reporting
  • Provide structured datasets to support forecasting and scenario modeling

Data Quality, Governance & Automation

  • Implement data validation checks and reconciliation processes across source systems
  • Partner with Data Engineering to improve data pipeline reliability and warehouse performance
  • Automate recurring reporting processes using SQL and/or Python
  • Document metric definitions and transformation logic to ensure consistency and auditability

Executive & Private Equity Support

  • Deliver scalable BI solutions that enable executive leadership and other key stakeholders to monitor value creation initiatives
  • Support lender reporting, and M&A integration through rapid dashboard deployment and data consolidation
  • Provide analytical insights derived from large, cross-system datasets

How We’ll Measure Your Success

Success here isn’t about checking boxes – it’s about propelling Kinective’s mission to lead the way to intelligent banking. You must bring excellence to your craft, balance resourcefulness with respect, share and celebrate unique expertise and diverse perspectives, and continuously raise the bar as we innovate and grow.

  • A centralized BI environment that unifies large, disparate datasets into a single source of truth
  • Automated, scalable dashboards trusted by Finance, executive leadership, and PE stakeholders
  • Clean, well-modeled data structures supporting accurate SaaS-style KPI reporting
  • Rapid deployment of new reporting to support acquisitions, integrations, or strategic initiatives
  • Reduced manual reporting effort through robust automation and semantic modeling

As the Senior BI Analyst, you will architect the financial intelligence layer of a complex FinTech organization. By designing scalable data models and executive-ready dashboards that integrate large datasets across systems, you will enable disciplined performance management, improve decision velocity, and directly support enterprise value creation.

Requirements:

Necessary Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics roles
  • Advanced SQL expertise with experience modeling large-scale financial and operational datasets
  • Deep experience building dashboards and semantic layers in Tableau
  • Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses
  • Proven ability to combine and reconcile data across multiple enterprise systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a private equity-backed or investor-driven environment
  • Experience with FinTech, SaaS, or recurring revenue businesses
  • Strong understanding of SaaS-style unit economics and financial performance metrics
  • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation
  • Familiarity with dimensional modeling and modern ELT frameworks
  • Experience integrating ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce) systems
  • Experience supporting M&A data consolidation or system integrations
