The firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing team serving clients throughout Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. This role primarily focuses on motor vehicle accident cases in the pre-litigation stage, with additional opportunities to work on other personal injury matters such as premises liability and dog bite claims. The ideal candidate is a client-focused attorney who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume personal injury environment and is motivated to advocate for injured clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage motor vehicle accident and personal injury cases during the pre-litigation phase.
- Review and investigate personal injury claims and supporting documentation.
- Communicate regularly with clients and guide them through the claims and settlement process.
- Gather and analyze medical records, accident reports, and supporting evidence.
- Work with expert witnesses and medical professionals when needed.
- Assess the value of personal injury claims and negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
- Collaborate with litigation attorneys and legal staff to prepare cases for litigation when appropriate.
- Maintain excellent client service and build strong client relationships.
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky Bar license required
- Minimum 2 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience required.
- Active member in good standing with a state bar association.
- Experience managing a high-volume personal injury caseload.
- Strong understanding of personal injury law and insurance negotiations.
- Excellent client communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Self-starter motivated by long-term career growth.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
