Position Title: Staff Accountant

Overview
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with monthly financial close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with QuickBooks and Excel and a solid understanding of core accounting principles.

This role requires hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a fast-paced business environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting processes

• Maintain accurate financial records within QuickBooks

• Analyze financial data using Excel and support internal reporting needs

• Ensure transactions are recorded accurately following proper accounting principles

• Assist with process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

• Experience using QuickBooks and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
