Looking for a steady, hands-on role where your equipment skills make a real impact?
Eco Express is hiring Equipment Operators to support erosion control, site development, and environmental projects. You’ll play a critical role in production, safety, and jobsite success—operating equipment that keeps projects moving forward.

What You’ll Do
Equipment Operation:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, dozers, loaders, and backhoes
Perform work according to project plans and Superintendent's direction
Execute grading, trenching, material movement, and site prep
Production & Efficiency:
Complete tasks accurately and efficiently
Support daily production goals and timelines
Minimize downtime and maximize equipment use
Work closely with laborers and crew members
Quality Control:
Ensure work meets specifications (grade, slope, placement)
Avoid rework through precise operation
Communicate any issues or inconsistencies
Safety Comes First (Non-Negotiable)
Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
Participate in daily safety meetings
Identify and report hazards immediately
Wear required PPE at all times
Stop work if unsafe conditions arise
Equipment Inspection & Care
Perform daily pre-trip inspections
Complete inspection reports
Identify maintenance issues early
Keep equipment clean and job-ready
Protect company equipment from misuse
What We’re Looking For
Experience operating heavy equipment (excavator, skid steer, etc.)
Strong awareness of surroundings and jobsite safety
Ability to follow plans and directions
Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Preferred (Not Required)
2+ years of equipment operation experience
OSHA 10 certification
CDL
Erosion control or site development experience
Ability to read basic construction plans
