Summary

We are seeking a Hospitality Support Specialist to support tasting room and event operations by ensuring all service areas, tools, and materials are consistently prepared, stocked, and maintained. This role is critical to keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. It is best suited for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays consistently productive, and takes pride in executing repeatable processes at a high standard.

This position also provides exposure to the wine industry, including access to wine education and certification opportunities.

Essential Functions

• Maintain operational readiness of tasting room and event spaces through continuous cleaning, resetting, and organization
• Execute high-volume glassware washing and polishing to service-ready standards
• Stock and replenish wine, supplies, and service materials throughout shifts
• Support service flow by clearing and resetting tables in a timely and consistent manner
• Maintain water stations to establish cleanliness and presentation standards
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and movement of furniture and equipment
• Complete opening and closing operational tasks, including trash and recycling

Supervisory Responsibilities

· This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced winery and hospitality environment
• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors
• Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat and cold
• Frequent interaction with team members across multiple operational areas

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift and move up to 45 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to move tables, chairs, and equipment as needed
• Ability to navigate uneven outdoor surfaces
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods, including glass polishing

Travel and Remote Work

• This position requires on-site work on a regular basis
• Travel between areas of the property during the workday may be required and is considered time worked

Additional Eligibility Requirements

• Availability to work peak business days, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some holidays
• Flexibility to occasionally work early mornings or late evenings in support of events and operational needs
• TABC and Food Handler certification required (or ability to obtain)
