In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting large-scale federal infrastructure and aviation programs by developing and maintaining integrated construction schedules across multiple regions and program centers. You will act as a key scheduling lead, ensuring alignment between project timelines, resources, and execution strategies across complex, multi-site initiatives. Working closely with project managers and technical stakeholders, you will help translate construction plans into reliable, data-driven schedules that guide delivery. The position requires strong coordination across national programs, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure schedule accuracy and performance visibility. You will also support the evaluation of subcontractor schedules and recommend improvements to optimize delivery timelines. This is a high-impact role operating in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment supporting major public infrastructure initiatives.
- Lead the development and maintenance of integrated, resource-loaded construction schedules across multiple regions and program centers, ensuring alignment with national program objectives and delivery milestones.
- Partner with regional and center project managers to build, update, and refine detailed construction schedules using tools such as MS Project and Primavera P6.
- Review subcontractor schedules, providing detailed analysis, feedback, and recommendations to improve accuracy, sequencing, and performance efficiency.
- Monitor project progress and use scheduling data to identify risks, delays, and opportunities for acceleration or improved resource allocation.
- Support leadership by leveraging scheduling insights to inform staffing needs, forecasting, and program-level planning decisions.
- Ensure schedule integrity and consistency across multiple stakeholders, maintaining high standards of documentation and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, with 12+ years of progressive construction scheduling experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Strong expertise in MS Project, Primavera P6, and advanced Excel functions for scheduling, reporting, and data analysis.
- Proven experience managing or supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure programs in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess schedule performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and leadership teams.
- Familiarity with construction project management principles and scheduling best practices, including resource loading and critical path analysis.
- PMI-SP certification and prior federal or infrastructure program experience are considered strong assets.
