About This Position
NetCentrics is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer / Architect to lead engineering efforts supporting development and integration of capabilities within the Palantir Maven Smart System platform for Department of Defense mission environments.
This role leads the architecture, design, and deployment of distributed mission systems that integrate data processing pipelines, machine learning capabilities, and operational decision-support workflows across complex operational environments.
Responsibilities
- Architect and integrate advanced mission software solutions within the Maven Smart System ecosystem.
- Lead engineering teams building data platforms, machine learning integrations, and AI-enabled operational tools.
- Design scalable architectures integrating data pipelines, sensor data streams, and mission applications.
- Guide development of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and real-time analytics platforms.
- Provide technical leadership for machine learning integration and operational analytics deployments.
- Interface with government program leadership, technical stakeholders, and mission operators.
- Ensure system security, reliability, scalability, and performance across operational environments.
- Guide system architecture, platform governance, and deployment strategies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or platform architecture.
- Experience building large-scale distributed data platforms or mission analytics systems.
- Strong experience with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and microservices-based systems.
- Experience integrating machine learning, AI analytics, or advanced data processing pipelines.
- Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or national security programs.
- Experience with Palantir platforms (Foundry, Gotham) or similar mission data platforms preferred.
- Active Secret clearance required
- Must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI
