IT Support & Systems Analyst

Please note: This role is onsite 5 days a week in office, in Mississauga.


We are looking for a motivated, tech-savvy individual to join our team as IT Support & Systems Analyst. This role is perfect for is ready to help us strengthen our IT systems and cybersecurity practices. You will work closely with our leadership team to review how we currently operate, identify areas for improvement, and help us build a more secure and efficient digital environment. Simply put it is not just about fixing computers but shaping how technology supports as we grow.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Take a deep look at how our IT systems are currently set up from networks and cloud tools to user access and backups and identify where we can improve.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues so our team stays connected and productive.
  • Strengthen our cybersecurity practices and ensure user permissions are properly managed.
  • Support and improve our data backup and recovery processes.
  • Review how we are using our Transportation Management System (TMS) and help ensure we are fully utilizing its features to improve workflow, automation, and reporting.
  • Evaluate and enhance how we use Front for email and communication management, ensuring it supports efficiency and collaboration.
  • Identify and implement integrations between our systems (TMS, Front, accounting, warehouse tools, tracking platforms, etc.) to reduce manual work and improve data accuracy.
  • Help document processes and create clear SOPs so our systems are structured, repeatable, and scalable.
  • Introduce innovative digital and AI-driven solutions that help automate tasks and improve visibility across departments.
  • Continuously look for ways to streamline communication and eliminate inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
  • Recently graduated from a program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Network Administration.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an IT support or systems role; prior internships and co-op placements are highly valued.
  • Experience providing in-office IT support in a Windows (Windows 10/11) environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and basic user/group administration.
  • Understanding of user access controls, permissions, and basic cybersecurity practices.
  • Familiarity with system backups and recovery concepts.
  • Ability to document procedures and contribute to process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused, professional approach.
  • You have a genuine interest in cybersecurity, systems management, and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible, and able to take initiative, you do not just spot problems, you fix them.
  • You are comfortable communicating with people across all levels of the company.
  • You bring a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
This role may require occasional work outside of regular business hours to meet deadlines or address urgent quality issues.
