Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Manager leads workforce planning and talent acquisition strategy to ensure the organization maintains optimal staffing levels aligned with business objectives. This role oversees recruitment operations, manages labor allocation, drives hiring decisions, and ensures compliance with employment regulations while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Planning & Labor Management
- Identify staffing requirements based on business demand, growth forecasts, and current employee skill sets.
- Develop and manage staffing schedules to maintain operational coverage while optimizing labor costs.
- Conduct job market and trend analysis to anticipate talent gaps and succession needs.
- Partner with leadership to align staffing levels with productivity and financial targets.
Recruitment Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute targeted recruitment campaigns to attract qualified talent.
- Design and publish compelling job advertisements across appropriate platforms.
- Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and adjust sourcing strategies to improve hiring outcomes.
Onboarding & Compliance
- Partner with HR to ensure all required documentation, certifications, and clearances are completed and current.
- Maintain compliance with employment and labor laws throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- Support employee relations matters connected to hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Leadership & Performance Oversight
- Supervise and direct the work of recruitment or staffing team members.
- Implement policies, programs, and directives established by executive leadership.
- Conduct performance reviews and participate in pay determination, hiring, and termination decisions.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5+ years of progressive experience in staffing, recruitment, or workforce management
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment and labor law
- Experience supervising staff and making hiring recommendations
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management or HRCI
- Experience in workforce planning and succession planning
- Experience managing recruitment marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in HRIS/ATS systems
- Experience with business intelligence reporting tools
Work Environment
- This position works remote
- May require occasional travel for recruitment events or multi-site support
