Parker Ranch is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Controller to join our team and contribute to the overall financial health and growth of our organization and its subsidiaries. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee critical financial functions, ensure robust internal controls, and support the company’s strategic initiatives through expert financial management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage month-end and year-end close processes

- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions

- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process

- Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency

- Oversee financial accounting, reporting, tax compliance, investment, and fund accounting functions

- Support business leadership by providing financial analysis, enterprise reporting, and insights to inform decision-making

- Assist in developing and executing capital plans aligned with organizational goals

- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements

- Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations

- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, and 5-10 years of related experience and/or training, some of which are from a public accounting firm.
• Certificates, licenses and registrations preferred: CPA
• Computer skills required: Accounting Software; Inventory Software; Microsoft Office Suite; Payroll Systems
• Other skills required: Average to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoin
