Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), in Evanston, IL, has Immediate Openings for RSAs(Rehabilitation Services Associates) / CNAs. This is an Excellent Opportunity to gain Valuable, Hands on Experience in the Field of Mental Health. $19.50 per hour!

~ Must be a current CNA ~

Plus, all of the Residents at Albany Care are Ambulatory, which is Very Different from working as a CNA in Skilled Nursing Facilities or Hospitals!

These are Union Positions

FT PM Shift 3p - 11p

FT/PT NOC Shift - 11p-7a

Every Other Weekend, NOC Shift

Rehabilitation Services Associates (RSAs) work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team, offering recovery and rehabilitation support and services to those who live in the facility.

Responsibilities of the Rehabilitation Services Associates (RSA)

• Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
• Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors
• Assist medical treatment team as assigned
• Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions, as well as assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Other related duties as assigned

IND1

Of the Rehabilitation Services Associate (RSA):

• 21 years of age or older
• CNA Certification required
• CNA experience required
• Experience in a mental health facility strongly preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Basic Computer Skills
• Service mindset with compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders
