Non-QM Underwriter at The Loan Store, Inc. – Tucson, Arizona

Experience

• 2-5 years of Non QM mortgage underwriting experience required
• Encompass knowledge preferred
• High school diploma or GED required. BA or BS highly desired.
• Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as DU and LPA
• Self-starter with strong work ethics and professionalism
• Team-player and able to work autonomously to meet critical deadlines

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Underwrite NQM Underwriting
• Proactively manage a pipeline of loans with a sense of ownership, including daily condition reviews
• Review all mortgage related documentation for accuracy and completeness and meet TLS guidelines
• Review to ensure investor requirements are met
• Request missing documentation necessary to complete the underwriting decision prescriptively and concisely
• Accurately perform compliance reviews and escalations as necessary
• Provide excellent customer service through friendly, professional and responsive communication with both internal and external customers
• Maintain excellent credit quality and daily production standards
