Job Description

We're looking for a standout Driver Recruiting Manager to lead a high performing team dedicated to sourcing, attracting, and onboarding top quality independent contractor drivers across multiple markets. This role calls for someone sharp, influential, and deeply committed to delivering a best in class recruiting experience. You'll guide and empower a team of recruiters while shaping strategies that directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract independent contractor drivers.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their staffing needs and ensure that recruitment efforts align with those needs.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet the company's ongoing staffing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and industry networks, to attract candidates.
  • Conduct regular assessments of recruitment processes and make improvements as needed.
  • Provide training and support to the recruitment team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics to senior management.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or 4+ years equivalent experience, required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on independent contractor drivers
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in recruitment software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
