Job Summary:
Prolific is seeking an accomplished Senior Account Manager to lead and elevate relationships with our top clients. This role is pivotal to driving company growth, strengthening long-term partnerships, and ensuring exceptional client experiences.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of account management or business development experience, ideally within advertising, marketing, or professional services. This individual will work closely with the CEO to deepen relationships with key accounts, serving as both a trusted strategic advisor to clients and an informed liaison across Prolific and our broader portfolio.
This role requires strong executive presence, excellent relationship-building skills, and a consultative mindset. The Senior Account Manager will fully own a book of business—anticipating needs, advocating for client goals, and delivering proactive, personalized support. This person should feel energized by understanding clients on a deeper level, operating as an extension of their team, and being genuinely invested in their mission and success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deepen client relationships through regular communication—including calls, emails, texts, and in-person meetings.
- Serve as a strategic consultant to clients, offering informed guidance and insight that drives meaningful results for their organization.
- Lead client projects end-to-end, from proposal development and scoping to creative collaboration, timeline management, and final delivery, ensuring clarity, alignment, and client satisfaction throughout.
- Partner with the Strategy team to facilitate, prepare, and present research findings, strategic recommendations, and comprehensive planning deliverables.
- Oversee all phases of client engagements (research, strategy, media, creative, and production) within the Prolific’s project management system, ensuring smooth execution and internal alignment.
- Proactively solve challenges, collaborating closely with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and effectively manage client expectations.
- An ongoing commitment to new business development and a passion for building relationships.
- Willingness to travel to clients (on average 25%) and be available to them outside of normal business hours, as needed.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to lead executive-level conversations.
- High level of organization and the ability to manage multiple fast-moving priorities.
- Current knowledge of marketing trends, clients’ industry-related news, and culturally-relevant events.
- Keen sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
- Willingness and aptitude to work with clients in faith-based, nonprofit, and/or politically-adjacent industries.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a client relationship management and/or business development role.
- Experience working with advertising agencies preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
