Engineering Tech II at Ai Signal Research Inc – Huntsville, Alabama

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Months/Years of Experience: Three (3) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and one (1) year of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements: Instrumentation - Must have sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and at least 1 of the 3 years of experience must be in electronics/instrumentation supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.

Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Desired Experience: OCONUS travel experience and in-person teaching presentations.

Duties: Duties will include the functional testing of HELLFIRE launchers on the TS-201 Test Set (Reaper, Gray Eagle, SDR, Navy LCS, etc.), SRP component testing (Guidance Section and Control Actuator System), all-up-round testing on the MHUTS at TTF (7298), TA2 (Bay 7 and 8) and TA10 (7679), all-up-round testing on the Javelin Environmental Test Set (JETS), and Javelin Command Launch Unit (CLU) testing. These tests are in support of the Tactical Air to Ground Missiles Project Office (TAGM).
