Job Overview:

Salary/Pay Rate: $20 to $25 per hour (Starting rate; grows with leadership responsibility).
Location: Moscow, Idaho.
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

The Opportunity: You will join an award-winning design-build team on an accelerated five-year track toward becoming a Lead Designer and department owner. This role moves beyond drafting to position you as a key driver of the client experience and pre-construction process. You will help shape beautiful, build-ready spaces while learning from the best designers in the region.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Conduct precise LiDAR scans and field measurements to establish accurate project foundations.
Produce high-quality conceptual layouts and 3D models using Chief Architect to visualize client dreams.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure design solutions are grounded in construction reality.
Coordinate material samples and vendor communications to maintain project momentum.
Develop comprehensive, permit-ready drawing sets including floorplans and elevations.
Lead defined portions of client consultations to build trust and professional authority.
Refine internal design standards to create order from the chaos of complex remodeling.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Degree or certificate in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
Strong fundamentals in drafting and 3D modeling.
Clear trajectory of professional growth and a high level of coachability.
Demonstrated technical precision and a serious commitment to the craft of design.
Ability to work within clear standards and deliver measurable results.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Proficiency with Chief Architect or similar design software.
Comfort and familiarity with the Google Suite for professional documentation.
A background of high academic achievement or equivalent field excellence.
Genuine interest in the "bricks and sticks" of how construction actually works.
