Technologist (SP) at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Willis Knighton Radiology is seeking a full-time x-ray technologist for our Interventional Radiology Department. The job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; operating radiographic and PACS equipment to produce quality images, following radiation safety guidelines, communicating effectively with patients and caregivers, assisting radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and proper documentation. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures, patient teaching, assisting with patient care within the scope of practice, inventory management, and schedule coordination.

Educationally, the applicant must be a Registered X-ray Technologist with ARRT and hold a license in Radiologic Technology by the LSRTBE. Reliable, trustworthy, organized, compassionate and excellent judgment will be the qualities we are looking for in the applicant.
