C Global Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Woodworker to join our team. This role is primarily focused on shop-based woodworking, including processing lumber, shaping, assembling, and finishing high-quality custom wood products..
The ideal candidate is passionate about craftsmanship and precision, with strong experience in cabinetry, fabrication, and finishing work. This position plays a critical role in producing visually appealing, durable wood products that meet both design specifications and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in woodworking, cabinet making, or wood fabrication.
- Proven experience as a woodworker or carpenter in a professional setting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Proficiency with woodworking tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail craftsmanship and manual dexterity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or formal training in woodworking or carpentry.
- Experience with CNC woodworking machines.
- Knowledge of different wood types and their properties.
- Familiarity with finishing techniques such as staining and varnishing.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a woodworking environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components with high accuracy.
- Operate woodworking equipment such as table saws, routers, sanders, planers, and CNC machines.
- Build custom wood products including cabinetry, panels, trim pieces, and specialty items.
- Perform detailed finishing work including sanding, staining, sealing, and varnishing.
- Select appropriate wood materials based on project requirements and quality standards.
- Inspect finished products to ensure precision, finish quality, and durability.
- Maintain woodworking tools, equipment, and shop organization.
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines within a shop environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines and quality expectations.
Skills:
The required skills—such as blueprint reading and tool proficiency—are essential for accurately translating design plans into finished wood products. Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail ensure precision in cutting, shaping, and assembling components, directly impacting overall product quality. Preferred skills, including CNC machine operation, finishing techniques, custom profiling, and epoxy work, enhance both efficiency and the aesthetic appeal of the final product.
Experience with detailed carpentry elements—such as casing, baseboards, door jambs, wood inlays, flooring, coffered ceilings, and decorative beams—demonstrates advanced craftsmanship and versatility. Knowledge of various wood types supports proper material selection, improving durability and customer satisfaction. Safety awareness remains critical to maintaining a secure work environment and preventing accidents during daily operations.
Work Environment & ADA Accommodations
