About this opportunity
As our People Coordinator, youll play a key role in supporting and developing primarily our Caregiver workforce. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where youll build strong relationships, support performance and wellbeing, and ensure our people feel connected, valued, and set up for success.
Working closely with the Business Operations Manager, team leaders, and caregivers, youll take ownership of day-to-day people coordination activities - from onboarding and training compliance through to performance support, engagement initiatives, and workforce wellbeing.

Key responsibilities
- Build strong, trusted relationships with caregivers and key stakeholders across the business
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding, including, interviewing, systems access, documentation, and first-week office induction
- Support caregiver performance through coordination of reviews, probation check-ins, performance management, and development activities
- Manage training and compliance requirements, including onboarding training, refreshers, and ongoing upskilling
- Work closely with leaders to support caregiver engagement, connection, and retention
- Coordinate quarterly caregiver meetings, including planning, logistics, and engagement activities
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and Dovida policies
- Support workplace health and safety processes, including incident reporting and return-to-work coordination
- Use systems and technology confidently to manage data, reporting, and workflows
About you
Youre a people-focused professional who thrives on building relationships and supporting others to succeed. You bring energy, initiative, and a solutions-focused mindset to everything you do.
Youll also have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine passion for working with people in a care or community-based environment
- Confidence using systems and technology to manage information, training, and compliance
- The ability to build positive connections across a diverse workforce
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Experience in HR, people coordination, training, or a similar role (aged care or community services experience is highly regarded)
A qualification in Human Resources (or working towards one) will be highly regarded but is not essential.
