About This Position

Description:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Program Scheduling Assistant is responsible for creating and maintaining EWTN’s 24-hour programming grids across multiple satellite feeds using a proprietary database. This role involves making informed programming decisions based on the liturgical year, special events, and network priorities, as well as communicating schedule changes and updates to internal departments to ensure consistency across all EWTN platforms.

About you:

Qualified candidates will have experience with scheduling, traffic, or database systems, along with a background in cable or broadcast television. Strong computer skills, familiarity with EWTN programming, and a solid understanding of the Catholic faith and liturgical calendar are essential. The position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to meet strict deadlines, and effective teamwork and communication. An associate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) is expected, and knowledge of Spanish or French is preferred.

What You’ll Love About Working Here:

EWTN offers a career with purpose, allowing you to use your God-given talents to support the mission of sharing the Gospel with the world. You’ll join a caring, family-oriented environment that values work-life balance and welcomes you as part of the EWTN family. Employees enjoy the freedom to worship at work—attending daily Mass, visiting the chapel for prayer, or participating in an annual retreat. EWTN provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a retirement savings plan, 11 paid holidays, and generous paid time off. Additional perks include tuition reimbursement through Catholic International University and the opportunity to learn from long-time team members while contributing fresh ideas to a growing mission-driven organization.
